2025

The Founding

Tengdur was born of Tovas, Gigi, and Sorcha when they found themselves out of a collar and in need of stability.

What began as a small flame in the dark grew into the hearth that sustained their kin. They were the connected—the blood and the bond that defied the isolation of the North. Through different journeys, their sagas were written and eventually carried them south. Bjornar later returned to the North, leaving Raektun in the South to tend to the family business and establish a future of his own.

2026

The Crimson Accord

Raektun stepped away from the Tengdur clan and the history that had shaped him.

It was not a decision made lightly, but one born from the need to establish something that belonged fully to him and those bound to his household. He laid aside the expectations, conflicts, and inherited burdens of the past to claim his own place in the South.

With Tovas and Tovah beside him, Raektun began forging a new family identity founded upon loyalty, shared purpose, and the promise of a more stable future. From that decision, House Sorellan was born.

2026

The Long Twilight

The breakdown within the clan came at the hands of its former leader, Alaric.

Many bannermen broke their bonds of fealty, while those who might have sworn new oaths were reluctant to place their loyalty in a clan without solid leadership. Trust weakened, unity fractured, and the clan's future became uncertain.

Bjornar answered the crisis by reclaiming the clan after Alaric was found dead. He began rebuilding it from the ground up, restoring order, repairing old loyalties, and giving its bannermen a leader beneath whom they could stand with confidence.

2026

The Reclamation

The clan regained its strength and stability, but survival could not erase the damage of the years that came before.

Its leadership was secure, its bannermen once again stood together, and there was no longer a constant need to defend the clan's name, loyalty, or intentions. The bitter years of internal conflict had passed, and peace had returned among its kin and kith.

Yet the damage left behind could not be erased simply because the clan had survived. Old wounds remained, trust had been weakened, and the weight of the past continued to shape those who had endured it. The name was strong once more, but the scars beneath it were stronger still.

Raektun was also struggling to grow his business, and the change required could not be a small one. Tovas and Tovah, having acclimated to their new southern city life, urged him not merely to adopt the ways of the South, but to become part of its story and history. Sorellan became the first step toward realigning the family, rebuilding what had been damaged, and creating a new foundation from which they could grow.

2026 — Present

The Present

Raektun's distillery has continued to thrive, leading to the opening of The Selnar Reserve in the city the household now calls home.

The Reserve offers special blends of Sul and Sa Paga, costly both by coin and by palate. Those who have tasted the blends attest to the refinement of the traditionally harsh liquor through spices, fruits, and other secret blending practices.

Raektun has devoted his time to learning, testing, and perfecting his new craft. The distillery and its private members-only tasting room now stand as the foundation of the family's future in the City of Selnar on the Isle of Cos.
